I felt your soul one day
although your beauty does distract
I proceeded anyway
found a heart so pure intact

We talked for hours in just seconds
with your senses unaware
it disclosed to me your purpose
when presented genuine care

As the sun's above the clouds
and beyond that sun, the dark

than this earth could ever give
I hope you learn that caring
means much more than trying to live

as close ones do pass on
to talk with them another way

to change a child's view of life

I'm glad that you were there for me
