Fancy
Ray
I was once distracted
on a sunny day
but, I felt nothing deeper
than, in view
When
I had been so use to
more meaning than could grab
with my hand, as it’s shine
made all things new
I acknowleded that the moon
would draw much less attention
to all the things my senses
deemed as worth
Where
easier, I’d return
back home, despite the brightness
come the night
as I did watch from earth
And
when did come the darkness
without a need to focus
which was hard for me
during, the day
It
sure returned my reference
of what should be my purpose
when a star emits
its fancy ray.
