Ever Need

Although the sun is out so bright
I still can feel the moon
lingering on from late last night
although it's afternoon

When the moon is full and lit
glowing in the dark
I'll still recall this shining sun
although it will embark

Seeing them together
makes for such a special day
but more than that is knowing
beyond them both farther away

It is really always night time
no matter which of them I see
above the sun and moon
is how I'm really meant to be

The part of me immune to
a pleasure or a pain
there restored, I'm guaranteed
my truer self I will regain

Where a pure heart never changes
always perfect no matter what
amongst all facts and evidence
it remains, never shut

And just as always darker
the further out I dare to go
way deep down inside of me
is all I'll ever need to know
