Apart

Can this moment be divine
if I declare it so,
before routine and habit get their way?

Have I, what it takes in me
if required, to out grow,
looking forward or remembering outside today?

I saw this birdie flying,
thinking, I'd dissect it
to see all the beauty in it's heart.

But that won't work, it's disrespecting
and not found from an inspecting,
but, neglecting
all that holds this world apart.

So, let me bravely dare this instant,
know all's adjusting for me,
no matter how mundane or underdone.

Be compensated for expecting,
and fall not for rejecting,
what I'm ready for, though seems
not yet begun.
